Jazz Ain’t Dead Performs with Mo Beasley UrbanErotika Juke Joint

Mo Beasley's UrbanErotika Juke Joint
"Dem Dirty/Sexxxy Blues"
September 18, 2010 @ Bowery Poetry Club, NYC

On September 18, 2010, JAD band member, Travis Antoine, and the Jazz Ain't Dead Dancers sat in to perform with Mo Beasley for UrbanErotika Juke Joint, "Dem Dirty Blues." With a cast of nine, we danced, we shimmied, and even Shani Borden Worrell sang the featured song with Travis on Trumpet and Miss Candice herself accompanying her with dance. Law & Order's principle actor, Mr. David Marantz, was on loan accompanying on guitar playing the blues while the dancers set the mood and the great Mo Beasley himself gave his tastiest rendition of his poem, "Come Into My Kitchen." It was a hot sexy evening we were glad to be a part of.... yes, those glasses were filled with Jack & Coke... holla! Enjoy the photos!

Dancers: Shani Borden Worrell, Candice Franklin, Danion Lewis, Carmen Carriker, Careitha Davis,
Jerome Melsaun Warren, Demar Braxton, Cynthia Bowen
Musicians: Travis Antoine (Trumpet)
Other Artists: David Marantz (Blues Guitar), Mo Beasley (Spoken Word),
Giorgio Chatelain (Acoustic Guitar)
