Welcome to the exhilarating world of Lindy Hop with the dynamic Sammy and Candy Lindy Hop Duo!  Ready to swing out and have a blast? Grab your dancing shoes and join #SammyandCandy for a super fun, open-level Lindy Hop class!  Join Lindy Hop Legacy bearer and Frankie Manning Ambassador, Samuel Coleman, and Candice Michelle Franklin, a proud member of Al Minn’s Lindy Hop Next Generation Project 2024-2026 Cohort, as they celebrate the Harlem Renaissance and bring the spirit of the Savory ballroom right onto the dance floor.  

No need to bring a partner to participate.

Fun dancing with my students during Joffrey Ballet School's Summer Dance Intensive for their Youth program.  I'll always be grateful to the late Jo Matos, who supported me and allowed me to bring the joy of THE WIZ performed as a revue as an example of the vast diaspora sounds and dance styles of American Jazz dance to Joffrey's young students.   The Wiz has gospel, second line, Jazz, R&B, club even hints of "the ballroom," and of course iconic torch songs with incredible meaning to all walks of life. We had a blast!
